Description
Vertical point access, two units per floor; interior stairwell; stairwells lit by skylight.
Like a Loosian
Private roof terraces on upper levels.
The exterior of the staggered volume of the upper floors has three different materials: the stone bands reflect the partition walls and ceilings one the outside, thus marking the various housing units on the facade. A combination of transparent and mirrored glass both relates the surroundings to the interior of the apartments and reflects the surroundings on the building. The metal ornamental structure of the base of the building alludes to the vegetation of its context. The facade is intended to be seen as an oscillating surface, communicating between the inner structure of the urban apartments and the rural atmosphere of the context.
