Description
Parking garage with automobile elevator in the center of the tower building on the ground floor and the standard floors. Point-access with four units per floor and interior stairwell on the standard floors; point access with eight units per floor with central access corridor on the top floor with multistory penthouse apartments; stairwells lit by windows.
The tower combines flats with a parking garage. The automobile elevator makes it possible to access the apartments with a car right up to the front door. Another advantage of this stacked parking is that the grounds of the courtyard are free for any kind of vegetation. On the standard floors, four units are grouped around the parking area. The living/dining areas are situated in the corners of the building and face two sides. The two upper floors have luxury penthouses designed as maisonettes with a living/dining area on the entry level and individual rooms with a terrace on the top floor.
Loggias adjacent to the living rooms surround the short sides of the flats; row houses with individual gardens.
The design of this monolithic building volume is achieved with window and fixed glass elements built flush into the smooth, dark brown surface of the brick shell.
This massive effect is heightened both by the loggias on the short sides, which cut into the facade at contrasting depths, and by the bands of windows, which extend the full length of the long sides.
