Apartment Building Altonaer Straße 4-14

Martina Düttmann

Description

Bay-type construction with one type of residential layout throughout: living room and kitchen (with service hatch) on the west side, with continuous balcony, bedrooms on the east side. The lobby leads directly into the living room, curving built-in cabinets shield off the corridor in the sleeping area. Interior bathrooms (with separate WC in the case of the three- and four-room apartments) are connected to the ventilation shaft. Kitchens are equipped with garbage disposals. West half of the sixth story is a communal area; utility rooms and laundry area on top floor.
